A Note From the Editor

This is the blog of Sandra Vahtel. I don’t write in it as much as I used to.

In 2009 I earned a master’s degree in professional writing from USC. I also collected a mound of debt. Today, I spend my time writing a variety of words. Right now I’m hard at work on my first novel.

While not writing, I work, I eat, I explore, I pray, I hang out. Sometimes I take the bus. It’s a good and quiet life.

If you search through my archive, you might notice that a lot of older posts have been deleted. Some because the photo links are dead, some because what I wrote then feels so insufferably boring/trite/embarrassing.

A lot of changes occur in one’s life over a period of several years; though comfortingly, or perhaps troublingly, a lot seems to stay the same, year-in, year-out.
