I recently stumbled upon the blog of Maggie Mason, the woman who runs Mighty Goods, a shopping blog that’s linked in my sidebar. At her site Mighty Girl, she has a section called Mighty Life. In it, she keeps a list of the things she wants to do before she dies. They made a horrible movie about this with Morgan Freeman and Jack Nicholson called The Bucket List.

Seeing as I love making lists, I’m going to start my own Mighty Life list, and had a couple of things in mind to put on it yesterday, but of course today cannot remember, alas. Check back often, as I’m sure things will be added as they come to mind.

1. Learn to use letterpress
2. Complete an Ironman triathlon
3. Own a llama farm
4. Write a cookbook
5. Travel to over 50% of the globe 
6. Make it Hawaii to see my friend Anne 
7. Get married
8. Meet Bono, Donald Miller and Anthony Bourdain—not necessarily in that order
